Presentation Slide Timer
Set your total time and slide count, and the timer tells you when to move on. It beeps at each slide checkpoint and again before you run out, so you can rehearse pacing without staring at a clock.

How it works
- Enter your total minutes and number of slides; the timer divides time evenly and shows the budget per slide.
- Press Start when you begin speaking. Press Next Slide as you advance; the timer tracks whether you are ahead or behind schedule.
- A short beep marks each slide checkpoint. A longer beep fires at the checkpoint you set (for example 80%) so you get a warning while there is still time to adjust.
- Pause and Reset behave as you expect. State is kept in memory only — reload the page to start fresh.
- Sound uses the browser's audio engine; some browsers require a click on the page before audio can play.
Frequently asked questions
How much time should I plan per slide?+
One minute per slide is the common rule of thumb for business talks; data-heavy or teaching slides often need two. Use the slides-per-minute calculator to test different paces before you rehearse.
Can I use this during a live talk?+
Yes — put it on your phone or a second screen. Mute the beeps if you don't want the audience to hear them and watch the colour of the elapsed time instead.
Why do the beeps not play?+
Browsers block audio until you interact with the page. Click Start (or anywhere on the page) once and the beeps will work.
